Custom fascia to hold Huitt Zollars designed Pedestrian Rail panels that will be lit at night under the Margaret McDermott bridge in Downtown Dallas.
PROJECT BRIEF

Many of the materials were extruded to size to eliminate waste and save overall project costs. Equipment used: Solidworks for shop drawings and layout; Plasma for panel pickets and component parts; Certified Welding to AISC standards; Assembly stations. Powder coated to a custom color. Special skids were made to transport the panels for secure storage until installation. Multiple versions of panels were managed using the ISO9001:2008 quality management system and lean manufacturing tools.

10 ft. panel sections in multiple styles are QC’d against the approved assembly drawing and tagged for shipment to the jobsite.
PRODUCTION OPERATIONS
This project required special dies for the 320 ton brake which formed the top and bottom channel of the pedestrian rail.

Our quality inspection process is completed at each stage by each person in production. The Quality Manager inserts inspections as required or desired by management or the Customer. The final product is inspected using approved drawings.
