This pictured machined part was cut to size using the waterjet, It was sent to the HAAS VF-5 for drilling and milling. The accuracy of the part depends on the Solidworks engineering file. Raw material could be sent through other CNC operations such as: Laser cutting (both tube laser and sheet laser); Plasma cutting; Angle saw; Bundle cutting. After it is cut to size, the material could go to the Press Brake, Precision Brake, Shear, Structural or Plate Rolling, Shear, Profile bender or Beam Line driller and then off to Fabrication for assembly and welding. Finishing includes mill scale removal and powder coating.
