The tanks are built in various sizes from stainless steel sheet, angle and tubing. The structural angle is rolled to size and then the sheet is rolled and welded to the angle. Tubing is cut and welded and a skid is built to hold the pipes and valves that are assembled per the engineered drawing and welded in place. The projects could have platforms, catwalks, stairs, console tables, hoppers and other custom fabricated structures and components depending on the owner’s needs.
Architecturally designed ornamental metal products have files that are sent to the Solidworks drafting program which the Engineers and Drafters use to create shop drawings for processing in the plant. Each component has a part number and Rev# if applies and a BOM or Bill of Materials plus the material specifications and machine processes. These drawings include AISC and ISO criteria needed for assembly, bolting and welding.
