CNC Production Manufacturing

Raw material is cut to size using the vertical bandsaw for angle cutting; the bundle cutting saw for cutting to length then sent to different operations for further processing.  Machining or milling is done to shape the part or drill precise holes to print.  Precision Plate saw cutting, 5-axis Waterjet, Laser and Plasma cutting use .dxf files that come from a Solidworks engineered file.  After the parts have been through the cutting operation, it could be sent to the Brake for bending.  Other operations could include CNC Punch, Shear, Structural or Plate Rolling, Blasting for mill scale removal and then off to Fabrication for assembly and welding.

3D DRAFTING

Using Solidworks, the Engineers and Drafters create 3D models for the internal design using the client’s scope of work.  From there, shop drawings with materials, specifications and operations are submitted to the client for approval.  Once approved, the drawings are saved in a .dxf format in the machine’s folder on the server.  The machine operator matches his job traveler drawing and file number to the .dxf file and cuts the parts from the approved materials.

 

CNC VERTICAL BAND SAW

This saw cuts both ends without an operator handling the material.  Just program in the degree and length and it does the work for you.  You can bundle cut, too.

FABRICATION

QMF cuts, shears, breaks, punches, rolls, assembles and welds to the customer’s specifications.
